Anti-Establishment Draws Iowa Crowds For Paul

Future President of the USA, Dr.Ron Paul, is appealing to many people in all walks of life.

December 23, 2011- Cheers ring out each time Ron Paul, the Texas Congressman, gives a speech while on the campaign trail. His speeches have information on monetary policy, the dangers of military entanglements overseas, the importance of a free market and how our freedom is his number one priority.

He says, as cheers nearly drown out his voice, “You have a right to your liberty, your life and to enjoy the accomplishments of your work.”

The crowds Paul is attracting are getting bigger and bigger as the January 3 Iowa caucus approaches. His libertarian beliefs have been given little credence on a national level for most of his political career however, this year voters are listening and more interested than ever.

Government dysfunction, bank bailouts and an increasing national deficit have caused voters to question the way the government is operated. His unconventional ways of campaigning are attracting members of the Tea Party, Independents and students, many of which believe he can beat the democrats next November.

Supporters are saying he is the only conservative that has been consistent over time. One supporter said, “He has said the same things for more than 30 years and now his time has arrived.”

In 2008, Paul finished a dismal fifth in the Iowa caucus. This year though, Dr. Paul says things are much different. The acclaimed doctor and 12 term congressman said, “Today the world is different, the economy is different and America has changed its mind.”
