Former Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi paid strippers to dress up as nuns in a musical.
April 17, 2012- On Monday, a model testified in an Italian court that Silvio Berlusconi, the former prime minister of Italy, had strippers dress as nuns to perform at his infamous bunga bunga parties. The model said the strippers dressed as nuns to perform in a musical skit called “Sister Act.”
Berlusconi is currently on trial for allegedly paying a Moroccan 17-year old for sex and then using the influence he had as the prime minister to cover the incident up. Berlusconi has steadfastly denied the charges against him.
Imane Fadil, the model who testified, told a Milan court that the women wore crosses, white coverings on their heads and black tunics. Fadil is of Moroccan descent.
At a separate party, Fadil testified that a young woman was dressed in a mask and jersey to resemble Ronaldinho the Brazilian soccer player who played at one time for the club AC Milan, which is owned by Berlusconi. The woman then took of the jersey to reveal a pair of skimpy underwear. Prostitution is not a crime in Italy, but paying to have sex with someone who is a minor is.
Last November Berlusconi resigned due to pressure from other countries in the EU because of the sovereign debt problems in the country. He was not present at the trial on Monday.
