Giants Stun Packers, Ravens Beat Houston

The New York Giants upset favourites Gren Bay Packers in post season play.

January 16, 2012- The New York Giants will play on the road again next week against the San Francisco 49ers for the NFC Championship. The Giants were able to beat the Green Bay Packers, in Green Bay, 37-20 Sunday to set up the showdown with San Francisco.

Eli Manning led the Giants by throwing for three touchdowns. Hakeem Nicks was on the receiving end of two of the Manning touchdowns. The Giant defense also came up big by forcing the Packers to turn the ball over four times and sacking quarterback Aaron Rogers four times.

Now the Giants head to San Francisco where they lost in November 27-20, but then again they also lost to Green Bay during the season but won on Sunday when it really counts.

The Baltimore Ravens held on for a hard-earned 20-13 victory over the Houston Texans in Baltimore to setup an AFC Championship game next weekend in New England against the Patriots. Baltimore ended their season undefeated at home winning all nine games.

Both the NFC and AFC Championships will be played outdoors with the weather being more of a factor in New England. Temperatures in New England are known to drop well below freezing and the area is due for snow since the winter has been very mild up to this point.
