Kutcher Back For Another Season

Actor Ashton Kutcher is back for another season of Two and a Half Men.

May 2, 2012- Ashton Kutcher is ready to return for a second season of Two and a Half Men on CBS. The actor, as expected, negotiated a new contract with CBS and Warner Bros. studio to continue in the starring role of the popular hit comedy. He co-stars with Angus T. Jones and Jon Cryer and the both of them will sign new contracts.

The three, insiders said, will sign three one-year contracts that will keep the cast intact for the series’ tenth season. Following the dramatic and at times crazy exit of former star Charlie Sheen and the subsequent signing of Kutcher, the ratings for the ninth season on CBS started incredibly high.

For the season premiere in September, over 27.7 million viewers tuned in. However, the numbers for the show dropped off as the season progressed. The series however, is very competitive in its time slot and usually ranks as the highest rated show for Monday nights on the network.

Sources say that Kutcher will sign a contract that will pay him over $700,000 for each episode. Cryer is said to be earning something less than that amount with Jones getting $300,000 for each episode. The three stars will also be receiving a signing bonus for an undisclosed amount of money.
