Extreme harrasment by TSA Agents caused a traveller to strip naked.
April 19, 2012- An Oregon resident was arrested by police at the Portland International Airport late Tuesday night. John Brennan, 49, was arrested for disorderly conduct and indecent exposure after he disrobed completely in protest at a security checkpoint at the airport.
The naked Brennan claimed that screeners at the airport were harassing him, so the stripped naked in protest. After he had completely disrobed, he refused the orders of authorities to re-dress.
The police report said that Brennan would not dress and was naked and exposed to everyone present including TSA agents and passengers, including a number of children. The incident caused Transportation Safety Administration agents to close two of their screening lanes. Some of the passengers, who were in line, were forced to cover the eyes of their children. Others who were standing in line gawked, laughed and even took photos of Brennan.
Brennan informed police he flies quite often and disrobed to protest the harassment he was receiving from the TSA screeners. He had been scheduled to fly to San Jose, California from Portland via Alaska Airlines. The police report indicated that neither drugs nor alcohol was involved in the incident.
At Denver International Airport, a woman disrobed last week after she was asked to put a cigarette out that she had been smoking in an area that was near a gate and was marked as a non-smoking area.
