The Apple iPhone 4S is plagued by problems including a battery issue that refuses to resolve.
November 12, 2011- Apple announced it is continuing its investigation into the issues of battery drain on the new iPhone 4S. A number of users have said the new iOS 5.0.1 update did not do the trick, as their problem still exists.
Now the smartphone maker is facing even more complaints, as users are saying the new iOS update has caused additional headaches with their phone. Those complaints have included; signal loss of WiFi, microphone failure and problems with cellular reception.
On Thursday, Apple released the new software update. The company said all issues are being investigated. Apple said the new software release eliminated the battery issue but in turn has caused others. Nevertheless, some users said their battery drain problems still exist with a few saying the drain is worse than before the update was released.
Many smartphone batteries are sub-par therefore many users will never be fully satisfied with the life of their battery. Nevertheless, Apple is confirming to their customers that they still have not solved the problem completely.
Some users are also complaining that the new update does not list contact names when a user receives a phone call or text message. Apple was not specific as to whether this particular issue is part of the remaining issues and is still investigating.
