After being groped by a TSA agent a female passenger returned the favor.
June 20, 2012- A woman from Bonita Springs, Florida was accused of groping a Transportation Safety Administration agent at a Fort Myers, Florida airport. The woman, Carol Price was on her way to Cleveland and said the incident took place when she was being screened at a security checkpoint. She felt a TSA agent had touched her in an inappropriate manner.
In response to that, Price dropped her bags, turned to a supervisor from the TSA, and grabbed her, without her permission, to demonstrate what a pat down was. Price’s attorney said an agent from TSA had previously groped the breasts and genital area of Price, before Price grabbed the TSA supervisor.
Price is an ex-TSA agent who had been working at the airport until just a few years prior to the incident. She said that protocol by the TSA agent was not followed. Price also said that while employed there she had a good relationship with some of her co-workers but not with everyone. She feels the actions of the TSA agent during the pat down were personal.
Her attorney said she had been in training and obviously knew who the agent was. He added that Price was on edge that day, as she was en route to attend the funeral of her brother. However, she missed the funeral when she was taken by authorities to jail. She now must face battery charges.
